Peta Strikes Wimbledon!
PETA has launched its new campaign against Wimbledon today in response to the great pigeon war. In addition to the usual media blitzing, PETA has utilized, a 60 story PITA bread monster. The authorities at Wimbledon quickly gave in to the demands of PETA when they realized the price of Hummus. Wimbledon will no longer harm birds or flat breads while holding tennis tournaments.

On the same day that Los Angeles teachers hold a 1 hour morning strike, clowns around the nation who are also outraged because of funding cuts are holding their own demonstrations.

United Teachers Los Angeles, the union that represents educators in the Los Angeles Unified School District, had a one-hour strike June 6 to protest Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s proposal to slash an estimated $4 billion from the state’s education budget.
